These seams are glued and then stitched 1/2 way through so the water won't enter the suit through the seam holes and finally they are heat taped resulting in a suit that stays warmer and dryer. These suits are made using the highest possible grade of neoprene, which is nitrogen blown, so the material remains supple with consistent nitrogen bubbles to provide the maximum insulation possible.
